Lawsuit filed today vs. Cobble Hill Success Academy charter school

Another lawsuit was filed today by parents against Eva Moskowitz' expanding empire of Success Academy charter schools, this time in Cobble Hill, District 15 -- where the community was not even given a chance to comment on it, since the original proposal was to place the school in D13 or D 14.

Despite the overwhelming opposition of parents, teachers and local elected officials, this highly controversial charter school was approve by the SUNY board.  News of this lawsuit was reported at GothamSchools, NY1 and S.Brooklyn Post

Below is a copy of the legal petition submitted by the non-profit, pro bono, public interest law firm Advocates for Justice, which has taken a leading role in defending the rights of parents, students, and community members who want to strengthen our public schools, rather than destroy them.  Go contribute to  them now!

Don't you think you should black out the names of the students?
